Instructions
1 Plug in your USB microphone and install the necessary drivers. Windows Vista and 7 should automatically install the drivers for you.
2 Right click the Windows Volume Control icon and select "Recording Devices."
3 Look for your microphone in the list. Make sure the device is enabled. To do this, first right-click and select "Show Disabled Devices," then right-click the USB microphone and select "Enable."
4 Open Cakewalk and select the USB microphone from the Audio Options panel.
5 Test out your microphone by recording vocals. Play around with different levels/compressors to get the desired effect.
