ISE 2014: Audio-Technica showing new headset and M-Series models

Audio-Technica is bringing its range of updated M-Series monitoring headphones to ISE 2014, along with the new BP894 headset.

The above products will be shown alongside Audio-Technicas existing wireless and installation products from its Unipoint and Engineered Sound lines.

Featuring a similar sound and proprietary design to the firm’s ATH-M50 headphones, the new ATH-M20x (UK RRP £49), ATH-M30x (£69) and ATH-M40x (£99) are ideal for long sessions in the studio and on the go.

Inspired by the company’s popular BP892 MicroSet, the Audio-Technica BP894 (pictured) offers a rotating capsule housing with talk-side indicator for use on either ear, as well as perfect polar pattern placement. The MicroSet BP894 allows the cardioid capsule to be aimed directly at the sound source – the microphone faces the mouth, rather than forward like some other headsets. Its uniform pickup pattern is very effective at rejecting outside noise, with impressive gain-before-feedback when used with live sound systems and stage monitors.

The ATCS-60 digital infrared conference system will also be on display in Amsterdam, which features a modular design, allowing voting modules and range-boosting transmitters, for example, to be added as necessary.

Finally, Audio-Technica’s System 10 wireless system will be present at ISE. Operating in the 2.4GHz range, the system offers easy operation and instant channel selection. Up to eight channels can be used together with no frequency coordination problems or group selection issues, making it ideal for budget-conscious situations where multiple set-ups are needed.

Audio-Technica can be found at Stand C90 in Hall 3.
